Thibaut is an international concert pianist and répétiteur. Born in Épernay, France, he began his piano studies at the Monaco Academy of Music, before continuing his training with Christophe Bukudjian in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and Hervé Billaut in Lyon.
In 2015, he was admitted to the Geneva University of Music, where he studied with Dominique Weber. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance in 2020, followed by a second Master’s Degree specializing in Piano Accompaniment, studying with Nina Uhari and James Alexander.
His career combines performances as a soloist and chamber musician, with appearances at numerous festivals and prestigious venues throughout Europe and the United States, including the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Victoria Hall in Geneva and the Aspen Music Festival, where he was invited for two consecutive seasons as a laureate of the Fondation Princesse Grace.
Alongside his performing career, he has developed extensive experience working with singers as a pianist and répétiteur. He has taken part in opera productions in Switzerland, France and Germany, including La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen and La Belle Hélène. In 2022, he was a finalist in the Geneva Mahler Competition with mezzo-soprano Valérie Pellegrini and was invited that same year to the Young Artist Vocal Academy at Houston Grand Opera.
After working with the vocal department of the Geneva University of Music, he was a répétiteur at the Opera Studio of the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg from 2024 to 2026, before joining the Opernstudio of Zurich Opera House in 2026. He has also collaborated with renowned artists including Natalie Dessay and Gauthier Capuçon.
Alongside his performing career, Thibaut has 15 years of experience teaching piano, both privately and in music schools. His teaching is tailored to each student’s level, goals and musical interests.
